With the increase in bacteria growth due to the phones we carry around with us every day, a China based smartphone company NOMU (Natural, Open, Motivated and Unique) has decided to help the worldby creating the first antibacterial smartphone ever.

 In a recent investigation by Nomu, the Chinese smartphone company found out that there are over 10 million bacteria on each phone with nearly a quarter of phones carrying 10 times as much as the acceptable number of bacteria.

This motivated Nomu to build a smartphone (NOMU M8) that offers antibacterial protection by implanting bi-ions on the surface of the glass the phone. This move means the anti-bacterial glass not only has high efficiency, but a long-lasting antibacterial effect that doesn't wear off.

 The 2.5D anti-microbial glass adopts a nano-antibacterial treatment technology, which can inhibit harmful bacteria's such as algae, fungus, and mould from breeding, making the phone possible to eliminate growth of bacteria like Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus with sterilization efficiency due to the Silver ions activated to produce reactive oxygen that decompose bacterial viruses.

 Apart from the Antibacterial ability, the NOMU M8 flaunts a compact 5.2 inches display with IPS technology with a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. All these is run on the Android 8.1 Oreo Go Edition and as for the camera capabilities, the M8 comes with 21MP sensors both on the front and back of the device.

 The smartphone has a dimension of 74.8 x 150.7 x 9.9 mm and it weighs 200 grams with battery. The smartphone is made out of Aluminium alloy and Polycarbonate. The phone comes in two different colors, Blue and Gray.

The device also supports dual Nano SIM card and it is powered by MediaTek MT6750T processor. The device has a 4gb of RAM and an internal storage of 64gb which can be further expanded by using a memory card.

 Other features of this device includes a Viewing angle – 178° in display and Proximity, Light, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, and Fingerprint sensors present, IP68/IP69K/MIL-STD-810G certification and can withstand drops, dust, and water. All these processes is bLi-Polymer 2950 mAh, Li-Polymer battery.
