The Samsung Galaxy M40 which is the Fourth to be released in the M-series has been revealed ahead of its launch in India on June 11. The Galaxy M40 is said to come with an Infinity-O punch-hole display and a triple camera setup (32- MP primary camera, 5-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle camera. On the front, the Galaxy M40 has a 16-megapixel sensor housed in a small hole cutout on the screen.

Samsung has already revealed that the Galaxy
M40 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 processor and also feature a ‘Screen Technology’ where the phone’s display is used for for audio output instead of the
traditional earpiece.
There will also be 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Galaxy M40 is said to come with a disappointing 3,500mAh battery, which far smaller compared to the Galaxy M30 and Galaxy M20 exceptional 5,000mAh batteries.

Lastly, the Galaxy M40 will ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box, making it the first in the series to ship with Android Pie out of the box with One UI.
About the Android Pie, Samsung recently
pushed out the One UI update for the  the other three devices in the series (Galaxy M10, Galaxy M20 and Galaxy M30).

The Samsung executive confirmed that the Galaxy M40 will be “around 20,000 rupees,” which is around $287.
The specific price is not confirmed yet.
